Machinist Position
Due to continual expansion of our business, we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Machinist who wants to part of an expanding and caring team. The machinist will work in our well-equipped machine shop amongst our other team members, made up of fellow machinist, fabricators, electrical and mechanical engineers. The role will involve manufacturing steel and plastic (predominately pharmaceutical grade, i.e stainless steel & Nylon) components from engineering drawings to the high standard that rhames are renowned for. You will be required to have experience and expertise in CNC & manual Lathes, CNC & Manual milling and a wide range of machining metals to enable you to carry out your role. You will also have the opportunity to advise on designs wherever possible or you feel appropriate to.

Machining Skills Required:
- Manufacture items to engineering drawings from steel and plastic
- The ability to operate
- Engineering Qualifications
- Engineering experience
- Good verbal and communication skills
- The ability to understand engineering drawings
- The ability to devise hand written sketches
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Significant experience and expertise operating CNC & Manual Lathe’s
- Significant experience and expertise operating CNC & Manual miller
Pay & Benefits:
